Rural Areas
My maps can show compact campuses or hundreds of square miles of territory by adjusting the scale. As the two wine country maps above and a representation of a healthcare network North of Denver below show, even large amounts of real estate are not a hindrance to creating a visually inviting, entertaining, and informative map.
This much simpler map was commissioned by a healthcare organization that covered a similar sized piece of real estate north of Denver. The landscape details were kept to a minimum in order to feature the main roads and buildings of the hospitals and clinics making up the network. As with most of the maps I produce, it is not to scale. This map is meant to inform viewers of the individual organizations that make up the network and to show the geographical relationships between those entities. Residents of the area already have a good idea of how far it is from Boulder to Longmont and the other towns in the area.
