This gallery has two purposes: To show the variety of maps I have produced to solve navigational and information challenges encountered by clients needing to contextualize their destinations and, using short project descriptions, to provide strategies for using maps in ways you may not have considered. These two maps are side-by-side cities and were used as a tourist advertising medium of folding giveaway maps for tourists.
Because so many maps of marinas, campgrounds, and even resorts are notoriously uninteresting when viewing them in their typical flat, Google map style presentation, the Port of Bellingham and Port of Skagit, both in Northern Washington State commissioned a few user friendly (and user-interesting) maps of some of their visitor facilities as seen below.
